Lightweight an easy to use, but gradations are in feet and inches instead of feet an hundredths as shown on the illustration. This will require a calculator to use it effectively. Try subtracting 3 feet 7-7/8 from 12 feet 6-3/8.

This grade rod is superb. I used it to map out the topography of my back yard to plan out a patio/deck and retaining wall. It is well built and I would recommend it to anyone.

Nice compact size when closed up. Includes a level bubble and extra rod section push button should one become faulty when opening or closing the rod. A nice package for the price.

Good grade rod. Easy to read and to extend in and out. Be careful when buying rods between inches and tenths
