Aftershokz Aeropex Mini (Rebranded as Shokz OpenRun Mini) Bone Conduction Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

Love these headphones! I cant wear earbuds they just dont fit in my ears correctly. I used to have a pair of motorola headphones that went around the back of my neck and were bluetooth. I loved these headphones and owned 2 pair. I lost a pair was down to one. The pair I had were seeing some wear and tear so off I went on a quest to replace my beloved motorolas. I bought 3 different pair of headphones before landing on the aftershokz. I bought the aftershokz air. I loved these little headphones but the fit was just slightly off, not a major issue and still enjoyed them. Well I went and lost them, not sure why I am losing headphones all of the time. I wasnt too worried I had my ol trusty motorolas as back up. Wow, did the aftershokz spoil me, people were having a hard time hearing me on the old pair of motorolas and I was really missing hearing abaiant sounds around me. So I bought the new airoplex version of the head phones. While the upgrades on this version are subilte for me they helped a lot. Sound volume has improved, less vibration and I never thought that ear plugs would make a difference when audio quality counted. Without the ear plugs in the sound is good but I will sacrifice that to hear my surroundings no problem. These came with ear plugs and thought to myself why would I use earplugs? I understand why now. If you use these headphones and use the ear plugs music truly comes to life. You get deep bass and a more full sound. Great for the Gym, airplane or when you do not need to hear background sounds. These really are the best of both worlds. Phone calls come through great and the person on the other end never complains about the quality of my voice. I highly recommend the aroplex headphones.

Terrible customer service. If you have an issue with the headphones it will take weeks and weeks before you either receive an exchange or a refund. I’m still waiting…..@aftershokz #aftershokz This new model is not good for phone conversation and clicks or makes loud sound on your ears often which did not occur in past model. Do not purchase

These headphones are great until they arent. They are the best pair Ive ever owned in terms of sound quality and they do what they say they do. My main gripe is that in less than a year, Ive gone through two pairs. They just brick randomly a few months in. Aftershokz did replace my first pair for free, as the warranty allows for, which is nice, and Im in communication with them now for a 2nd pair. But considering how much these headphones cost, they should last way longer, hence only 3 stars from me.

I bought these since I’m on the phone all day, work out, and drive an old truck without Bluetooth stereo connection. They’re comfortable and fit securely. I have a small, 6 7/8 size head so the size works.

The only reason for a 4 star review is because I wish I could answer a call and change and pause music with these given the price.

This product exceeded my expectations. I used half a dozen earphones of various price ranges for running and this one is by far the most practical and comfortable. Contrary to others, it is light, unobtrusive. The sound conduction through the bones is effective, eliminates ear fatigue and may even correct the difference in hearing sensitivity between both ears that some of us have. Sound isolation is sufficient for clear listening while remaining aware of one’s environment. Some have mentioned that sound quality is less than perfect. It may be true when compared to some other high end products, but who needs perfect sound while running or in the uproar of the city? I also was able to use it in noisy restaurant environments, cars, etc. Overall, a perfect choice for active people who need to continue to listen to their music, books or news, and also for those who are afraid to drop or loose the smaller in-ear products. Regarding battery life, all I can say is that I have been using it for more than a week for about one hour a day and it did not let me down.

I love everything about these headphones, except the fit in the back. First, sound quality is perfect and battery life is very, very good...no complaints. The only thing I dont really like so much is that the strap isnt tighter in the back. They sort of balance on your ears, but I have at least 2 of extra space in the back.

A welcome addition to any wireless headset collection. Excellent podcast or audiobook headset. Not meant to replace apple AirPod pro or galaxy pros. They have become my everyday drivers.

I have had to wear a headset a good portion of my career. I grew to hate the ear pieces in my ear, after 8 plus hours a day wearing them I felt violated. But when I found out about AfterShokz I ordered right away. My ears dont hurt I am happy.
