It doesnt smell great. Might be industrial, cleaned up with odor remover spray

I am very happy with my purchase. The only problem I had was in the way they have it folded---it got a bit confusing. But the fabric is fantastic for sewing muslins.

The fabric is ACTUALLY COTTON... YEAH!!!! Minimal shrink when washed & dried. Quality seems pretty good, okay for the price point advertised. Im wincing only a little at the extra I paid due to lying listing info. Very light, fine, airy (think batiste)...but this listing is a wreck. To my purposes its doesnt have quite enough.... Body... for pattern making muslin. I like the fabric itself - actually have been looking for just this weight/weave of cotton - FOR COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PURPOSES than why I placed this order. This should work well for sheer, lightweight type curtains, shadow applique, shadow embroidery. (See photo) Delicate hand embroidery, eyelet work, gauzy feel for apparel applications without the puckering. *BUT* When I order a specified size/quantity for a specified price, that is what I expect to receive. Amazon & their vendors really need to learn & police their fabric terms, labeling/listing practices, etc.... And if you are going to sell fabric measurements matter! The width received is actually 56 (NOT within the 2 grace range to be labeled as 60) . A customer should be able to figure that theyll get at least a usable 58 across after washing from fabric listed 60 wide. The length (I triple checked) is only 9 yards (& 2 inches). The 10 yards is clearly stated all over the item listing & my order info. This is unacceptable practice. Apparently theres no simple, direct link to contact about this without creating a return. I will be spending the time & calling Amazon. I like this fabric & will use it. just want my bill adjusted to reflect the merchandise actually received!

Just received it and it did arrive sooner than the estimated date. It is thicker than high quality 100% cotton bed sheets but not as thick as drop cloth. So I consider it thin but not unreasonably so for the price. I picked this one specifically because it was advertised to be 63 inches wide - but it’s not. It is 61 inches. I did quick calculation on length which came out to 338 inches. This is 1.8 feet shorter than advertised. I’ll keep it because of my time crunch but I’m clearly disappointed on two ends (pun intended). Thankful I did not need the entire 30 feet for my intended project. Overall still not a bad buy but of you are planning on a project using the measurements advertised then you will find yourself disappointed like me.

I have ordered from the same seller now 4 times! Why? Because Im very happy with the product. The muslin always comes on time and sometimes early too. The only thing is when youre done washing and drying it, it will be very wrinkled. But then again, it is 100% cotton, you have to take that into consideration. I am able to make practically all of my garments for a test fit. When you iron the fabric it is soooo nice! Does it deserve a five star? Well, in my opinion, yes, or else I wouldnt continue to order from them! I have been sewing for four years and not like 20 years or something. But my garments always come out nice.

I have purchased this twice now in the 10 yard pieces. Great value. This 2nd bolt I just got was a little different even though it was supposed to be the same weight. It looked more like Osnaburg but once I did a prewash with it, it softened up. Im using this for dolls and I like the way it feels much better after washing and drying. It does wrinkle some but if you pull out of the dryer a little damp and run a hot iron over it, that issue is gone. It does better pressing damp than using the steam setting on the iron. Very nice to work with once washed. Shipping was fantastic. If you are a crafter making items, I highly recommend this fabric.

I like this material, however, its a lot more stiff than I expected. It feels more like a canvas type material than say, a batting type material. I havent washed it yet, so Im thinking it will be softer after I do. Either way I can still use this product in my quilting and I love it!

I got this fabric for draping/pattern making and I was amazed at the quality. I was just looking for cheap muslin but this one turned out to be very good quality, strong, and a bit heavier than medium weight muslin. It is not transparent like some lower quality muslin. For anyone interested the weight of it is 4.8 oz per yard. I prewashed it on hot and put it in the dryer on hot. It shrinks a bit but not much. Probably down to 60 width. It got a really nice wrinkled texture after washing and got softer. I am considering buying a fabric dye and dying the fabric to make actual garments out of it. Well worth the money.

I was very surprised at the quality of this fabric. Its surprisingly thick and and tightly woven. It will be perfect for quilting, wall hangings and pillows.
