I spent quite a bit of time learning about different recovery options before settling on this snatch strap from All-Top. At this point, I have not used it for actual recovery, but I did connect it to a smaller vehicle with its brakes on to see about stretch - it seems to work as advertised! While I did not measure the actual displacement, I was able to slowly tension the strap before having the other driver release his brakes. The extension was smooth as well as the release, so I feel like everything is working as expected. Im glad this kit comes with a receiver and two shackles as it kept me from agonizing over more parts. The shackles are solid and nicely finished, with smooth operation. Upgrading to locking pins might be worth looking into if you plan to leave them attached to your hooks, but for my use these are perfect. I will be adding a static rope to my kit, soon, so I have more options, but for now Im confident this strap will cover my typical needs for snow and mud.

I rated the quality of the products in the kit with 5 stars. The reason why the 2 star overall rating is because of the condition that the packaged arrived. The factory box came in a ripped condition. The carry case in which the individual items arrived was covered with mold spots all over the outside. It is poor business and unsafe to the customers who have to open the package and handle the product. I happened to have a hospital grade non-toxic bio-degradable disinfected that kills 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and mold. See attached pictures.

I pulled a car with it and it broke so not a good strap it. Couldn’t hold up for a job
