I use these on an almost daily basis to carve custom signs.

This is in Maple 0.100 deep, was hoping with 3 flutes it would carve better, tried different speeds and feeds same results. Tried to find someone to contact at Amana Tool, sent email to them no reply yet.

My carving live has changed since buying this bit. Sharp and long lasting. 100s of carve on it so far.

Youll never regret paying a few more dollars for this bit. I have been using it now for several weeks as my go to bit for every v-carve and it performs flawlessly. Works so well that sometimes (depending on the species of wood), I dont even have to do any finish sanding. I use it for mostly exotic hardwoods and its still as sharp as when I bought it. Ive tried many different brands of bits but this one has been superior to them all so far.

I bought this bit in June of 2022 and am still using it. I have used it for about 150 wood carved signs and logged about 50 hours of use and it is still going strong. This thing stays sharp and just keeps going and going. I love that it is 3-flute as opposed to the 2-flute v-bits I had been buying from Menards and Lowes.

It chipped a very small corner when carving foam on my avidcnc. I did an easy pattern through soft wood and you can see what happened to the bit. Maybe I got a bad bit but it appears like they are not durable or long lasting. Buyer beware. Will buy a second to test again.

This bit is off the chart. Great accuracy and outlasts a traditional carbide bit. Using it on a CNC cutting lots of hard mesquite. Worth the money. Just dont hit your clamps and trash the bit.
