Amazon Basics Smart Plug Power Strip, Surge Protector with 3 Individually Controlled Outlets and 2 USB Ports, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Works with Alexa

My wife loves it! We have three table lamps in our living room separated by 8-foot distances. It was a pain to turn on or off all three because the switches were on the cord. Now all she has to do is say Alexa, turn on(off) Living Room. It also helps to be able to selectively control each lamp by its separate name. Lastly, its easy to set up, except for the separate names; the menu option is not immediately obvious.

I wish there was more outlets. The 3 plugs work with Alexa but the USB outlets doesnt. So its only 3 smart plugs.

I like that I can control the power supply on the three outlets from my phone. If I’m away from home I can turn the lights on to make it seem like I’m home. Or if I forgot to turn the the lights off (I have a dimmer plugged into the outlet) and I’m already in bed, I just need to reach for my phone.

Fairly simple to set up. Wife can now turn on and off table lamp, heating pad and recharge her IPad all from the comfort of her recliner. No more switching outlets.

I used this in my son’s room. He can turn his lamp on and off easily either by voice or convenient button on the power strip. I love that it just gets added to my Alexa app and I don’t have to open a different app to access the smart plugs in the house.

Great product that does exactly what it says. I use it right now to control my record player set up and it has automated everything from play/stop to powering my speakers on etc. my only disappointment is that it comes in one single cord length. I could have used some extra cord length but I was stuck using an extension cord and creating an uncomfortable daisy chain...

The product works well once you get it setup. Instructions could be more detailed however eventually linked with Alexa and has been very helpful for seniors in the home.

They could have made it a LITTLE longer to make room for another plug. But, then theyd make a LITTLE less profit. And WE CANT HAVE THAT! (Oh, and forget about making a 2-pack to bring the price down...even a little! CORPORATE GREED at its finest!) Sooo, a bit pricey for what youre getting.

I was not sure if was a single controller and so was pleasantly surprised that it has 3 distinct controller. Plugged it in, Alexa recognized all three and except that I had to crawl under the desk to figure out which circuit was which, a breeze to set up.

I originally wanted this for my wifi to reset it easily. But....... gotta have wifi to communicate so turning it back on wasnt an option, lol. But I use it for my office desk now and love it. 3 plug that Alexa controls easily. Great way to make your home smarter without installs.
