And I dont regret it. Sat in a ASUS ROG Strix X470-I it will overclock to 4.1Ghx and higher. Although I have it set to default now, but playing around is fun and knowing it delivers above stock specs is encouraging. Non of the lag of old AMDs and am please I made the switch for price sake alone. Good budget option + low wattage. Bargain.

The processor is a beast. It was kinda hard to put the stock fan, you really have to force it

I use this for resembling genomes. Easy breezy fast and cheesy. Maxed to 100% load on 16 threads this runs at about 55C when assembling genomes, it barley knows it working. This is using the spire fan it comes with, I like the fan it comes with from AMD. Using this with 64 Gb of memory, there is little you can not do.

I used this CPU in my first PC build, and I am not disappointed in the slightest. This computer I built does anything and everything I need it to, from running MMOs to running Steam games. It was super easy to install and the red RGB goes perfect with my motherboard, RAM, keyboard, and mouse RGB. I plan to stick with Ryzen and upgrade to a newer model in a few years. Definitely going to be a long term Ryzen fan!

The first thing I noticed when I took out the Fan from the box was the Thermal paste looked as though someone had cut their thumb and then pushed it into the paste, then I noticed what looked like imbedded rust off to one side? So pulled out my own Pc cleaning things and Thermal paste, it did take a little time but was as good as new when I finished. I made up a test bench in case there was a problem with the CPU - No point in putting a build together if your only going to have to strip it down again. I really like it, Temperature is around 29 - 30 c so am tempted to overclock which you can do with this CPU - For the Price I give it a thumbs up :)
