Very good deal if you are on a budget and just need to upgrade from your 7 year old computer that cant run CS:GO, there are way better parts you can get in 2019 but for a simple upgrade ITS WORTH IT. Cant go wrong with 8 cores and 16 threds. If you are doing an upgrade make sure your motherboard is AM4 compatible or you will be sitting in your room with a 160 dollar CPU that will become a paperweight if you drip it. if you are like me you will need to upgrade your mother board, ram, and GPU (graphics card).

So I saw that this particular CPU is supposed to work with the x370 MSI Gaming Plus mother board. When I installed everything together, I than realized that the mother boards BIOS needed to be flashed. Apparently the motherboard can handle the CPU but the software in the bios was out of date. Wish I would of known this, because I had to buy another CPU. The new CPU allowed me to boot up the computer so I could get it flashed.
