AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

I do not upgrade my PC too frequently, so I try to get the best CPU I can afford. I had no idea how amazing this monster would be. I am a programmer, and during the day the 24 threads average 1% loads, with one or two peaking to 20% during video meetings. Absolute insanity.

Doing the wrong thing in multi core work loads never was so easy to solve and fix. I game on linux cause I am not buying a windows license ever again. Doing multiple work loads was never so easy.

Steal price for a processor high end CPU. If you plan to game this is high end as much as you can go before the threadripper. A 7 or 5 is good enough but if you are streaming/video editing great pic compile times are great and clcok speeds are nice. Just know that you need to have great VRMs on your motherboard, so id recommend a B550 or an X570 motherboard for this CPU to ensure it isnt overheating. I have it run at 60c avg with air cooling so if you need to look just try to prepare yourself for cooling. Also since this is 5th gen check the motherboard you have for what Bios version it supports up to.

el precio es muy bueno yo arme mi computadora hace 4 años y tenia un ryzen 5 2600 que era en ese entonces para lo que me alcanzaba pero la arme pensando en actualizarla a un ryzen 9 3900 o 3950 pero esos siguen estando caros no bajaban de 10500 y al ver esta oferta solo actualizando el bios de mi placa lo acepto sin problema y el rendimiento aumento mas del 300 % claro tuve que poner un disipador mejor pero se compensa

Coming from a 2700x, youll definitely notice improvement in productivity workloads, and 1% lows in gaming will climb significantly. The only knock I have on the 5900x is that on a X470-F with the latest bios updates applied, the processor will not boost a single core past 3.8ghz... even with PBO enabled and thermals looking great. Beside this one minor complaint, this processor shines in daily tasks and gaming, and should be competent for years to come. Heres hoping I can figure out the boost issue...

So you play games alot, you got yourself a great board and a graphics card that just wont quit. Ok, then this is the processor for you. Stable as the day is long... Throw a hard core cooling system on this bad boy and crank up the heat. It just puts a smile on your face to watch this thing work under a load. With all the software support behind this chip you can do great things with it. It is extremely flexable and I couldnt imagine how this wouldnt meet your gaming needs.....
