amiibo fuko (Animal Crossing series) Japan Import

Excellent detail on this high-quality amiibo. The final product has great color and fantastic tactile variety. Just feels good to hold & fidget while playing a game. Functionality is good; amiibo connects with a ~1/4 gap to the reader. Each amiibo has its own quirks during gameplay. We have all the AC figures. (There really should be an amiibo for Stitches, or maybe Brewster.)

So, I bought this to invite Celeste to Brewster’s Cafe. It’s also a cute figure. I have a Nintendo Switch (original), but I used my pro controller. You might have to move it around a little to get it to work, but I had no problem. You cannot invite her as a camper, not can you summon her to your island to give you recipes.

When the amiibo I ordered for my birthday arrived, I had to have my sister test it for me since I had to leave immediately for work. She sent a text saying that it didnt work, so I sent her the instructions on resetting an amiibo. I didnt hear back from her so I decided to do it myself when I got home. Well, I tried to reset it, and the Switch couldnt read it! I restarted the console and the same thing happened again, so I tested it with an amiibo I had previously. This one actually read, so its definitely the Celeste. I would suggest finding a different seller if youre looking for amiibos.

Celeste is absolutely adorable. I love her and would happily recommend, 11/10. The amiibo itself is wonderful quality - small but beautifully painted, and works great. For informational purposes, please note that this is the Japanese amiibo so the box will have kanji and katakana rather than an English description. However, this WILL work for any region - you do not have to be using a Japanese switch or game. For those who are buying this amiibo for the sole purpose of using it in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, please note that Celeste cannot come to your campsite. You can, however, use this amiibo on Harveys Island to gain Celestes photo & poster items in your catalogue, and take photos with her at Photopia. You can also summon her (and her brother, Blathers) at Brewsters Cafe in the museum to sit down and have a coffee with them.

This little guy is adorable. I love the colors and I love owls. At first I displayed it in the package because I didnt want it to get damaged, but then I want to use it for a game so I had to open the box. I am so glad I did. The detail is great and it looks so much better outside of the plastic prison it was in before. It stands up and displays really well and it made really well. Not all figures are made like this, but Amiibos are usually pretty sturdy. We had no problem scanning this one into the game we were playing and it has worked perfectly ever since. I wasnt sure if it would work since it was an import, but it worked just fine. So the only difference is the packaging that was in Japanese. I love animal crossing so I had to get this Amiibo. I also love owls so this was a no brainer. This is good not only as the intended purpose, but as a cute little decoration as well. I would definitely buy many more of this line!.
