> 3 day26 year old Anderson 8 sliding door that gets used a lot with dogs. Screen door just would slide well till I looked into this. Read all the reviews and surprise my replacement was very easy no issue. Adjusted the level up, added some WD40 and smooth as ever. Only did one while the other side adjustment is weathered but it works great. Very happy I took on this project...

> 3 dayAfter 10 years in the Tucson heat our old rollers had become pretty worn out. These are perfect (I think OEM) replacements. There is a little trick to removing the old ones that involves using a very small nail or mini-screwdriver to pop the old units out . Before I figured this out I had a couple end up rattling around inside the aluminum track ... not a real problem but its easy to get them out if you study the design before attacking the removal. A good shot of a silicone lubricant would not be a bad idea from time to time.

06-04-2025My Andersen screen door was really hard to open and close like there was an obstruction in the glide track. When I took the screen door off it was readily apparent that one of the bottom rollers broke. This factory replacement fixed it. The old roller was kind of hard to extract. I ended up breaking both side tabs of the old roller to extract it and the new one just snapped in. It has an adjustment so that you can easily raise or lower the roller after installation.
