Great product to start out but you definitely will have to watch a bunch of YouTube videos to make sure you’re doing it right. Get lots of painters tape because you’ll need it!

There is a defect in the large screen not letting the paint go threw.

I got this as my first ever screenprinting kit. It is a great deal for the money and easy to use if you look at some other tutorials. You need to buy ink and emulsifier. I opted to use my cricut so all I needed to buy was ink. This worked great for my Etsy shop, I was able to sell the shirts I made!

I think calling this a kit is a misnomer. If you read carefully, all this basically is are the screens and transparencies. Its a good price for the screens, but you also need to buy a photo emulsion to make an actual screen print. So, this isnt really a kit thats everything you need to get started. The description should mention that you need some sort of photo emulsion if youre going to print transparencies (there are other ways to screenprint). You also need ink. The actual instructions say you need to buy it yourself. If you know what youre doing, you can read the list of items and know youll need ink and something else, but I think beginners expect a kit to be complete, like the Speedball kits.

For beginners, this is a great screen printing set. Its also a great price, since you get two ready-made screens. There are a couple of things you will need to go with it. It doesnt come with any ink or screen cleaner. You will also need photo emulsion and clear contact paper. However, if those items were included with the kit, it would make the kit cost a whole lot more. My big problem with this kit is that the instructions are TERRIBLE. Ive done a lot of screen printing before, so I was able, for the most part, to follow what they were saying. A novice should really consult You-tube for better instructions. In addition to better instructions, they need to show and label what each thing in the kit is and how it is used. Im removing a star because of these problems. I can recommend the kit because for what you get, it is a great value.

Very poor quality, flimsy frames, has staples on front of the gram so it will not lay flat.
