> 3 dayUsing this as a bag holder by my office desk. Love the elegance, and it was easy to install. Heavyweight, so it is very sturdy.

> 3 dayOrdered these as part of a bathroom remodel because after completing the renovation, I realized I needed 4 more hooks in addition to the ones I already purchased. The ones purchased from the bathroom showroom, cost $80 each and took almost a month to receive. Because I was impatient and also because these additional hooks would be going in areas that wouldnt be very visible (back of the door and behind the door), I took a chance and ordered these. Not only are they dead ringers for my existing hooks, but they are a fraction of the cost. They are the same heavy weight, solid clean finish as my existing. Same mounting hardware too. These come with two drywall anchors, screws and a mini hex key for securing the hook to the mounting bracket. The hook portion of this sticks out far enough from the wall to securely hold a bath towel, robe or even a couple hangers. I particularly like that the hook is large enough that it doesnt take tedious, careful action to hang a towel up. Some hooks are so small or dainty that I know my husband especially, would never take the time to so precisely arrange a towel so it hangs securely. This hook makes it easy to just sort of fling-toss-hook and the towel is up. The only negative I can pass on is that for some reason, all these hooks come with a thin film of dark grease on the back edge. I couldnt figure out why I had grease on my t-shirt, hands and on the door where I had held the hook to position before installing. I had to remove the first hook from the back of the door, clean the door and also the hook, then re-mount. After learning every hook has the same traces of grease, all I did was clean them off before handling and installing. Very happy, very impressed and have already ordered more to have on hand because were planning our next bathroom renovation.

Greater than one weekI had an over the door hanger and it scratched up my door, it kept sliding around. I bought this as it bolts on to the door with no sliding. I put it them on 2 bathroom doors. Going to order 2 more or the other bathroom doors. I had to trim the plastic as it was too long for the door thickness. Probably a 1/16th or maybe an 1/8th.

Greater than one weekThe appearance and sturdiness are excellent. Fit beautifully into contemporary decor. There are several variations on the design. With absolutely no blame to the makers, I would advise buyer to shop carefully for the right kind of mounting screws (hollow-core, drywall, solid wood, etc.) You will probably put a bit of weight on these beauties and you dont want them peeling off the wall.
