Easy to fall out of wall socket because its heavy. It does NOT super fast charge which I assumed.

Dont think about it... just get it. It charges my M1 2020 MacBook Pro just fine. I use a 6 Powerline II cable also, works great.

Overall it is a good charger. It is not for Macbook pros, it will work for a little bit but then crap out. The highest wattage is 45W on this for the USB-C. The weakest Macbook Pro is 60W. It charges it super slow, and does not have enough juice to pass power through the ANKER USB-C hub, assuming other hubs as well. Using it on my Macbook Pro consistently eventually fried it. ANKER makes great stuff, you just got to be careful and read the power ratings for you electronics and the ANKER products, cause they are gonna say it is your fault.

It worked good for a month, than quit working. I need to contact Anker to see if the will back up their warranty.

I was looking for a replacement power brick for my Surface Pro, which will pull a full 45 watts when running multiple virtual machines under heavy CPU load and charging the battery, too. And then I found a USB-C to Surface Pro charging cable-- could it be true? Yes, and it works with my Anker 30 Watt charger...for a while (45 watts from a 30 watt Anker will eventually have it go into thermal shutdown-- correctly! and it quickly resets, but that means the 15 watts over the rated Anker slim-charger is as advertised (but 15 watts of headroom is impressive). This charger is rated at 45 Watts, and it provides power continuously at the maximum CPU load without a hitch. And so, it appears that this Anker charger really does provide 45W (USB-C) and enough from the other USB port to power my iPhone 11 Pro without a hitch-- and doesnt get as warm as the original power brick thats perhaps 50% larger. The original power brick is fine, but if you have USB-C and USB-A devices that need power, why not travel with this? As for slow charging on other devices as reported by other reviewers, thats a mystery (and could be cable or device, too). But in this case the USB-C to Surface Pro cable (purchased here on Amazon) and this Anker 45W USB-C + 15W USB-A is working exactly as promised. (Why do I use this setup? Because Im a software guy and I run multiple Windows VMs and an i7 Surface Pro is pretty fast. Why the USB-A? Because I sit a small fan behind the Surface Pro under high, continuous CPU load and then it wont thermal-throttle-- you can run the CPU at 100% indefinitely with a little air moving against the back of it, which is a thing with most high-CPU spec mobile / laptop hardware). Good Luck and Happy Computing!

My Lenovo Yoga 720 uses a 45watt charger and Im a fan of Anker products, such as their bluetooth headphones, theire wireless phone chargers, and so I thought Id give this 45watt usb c charger a try. It chugged along for a month without a problem until last night I noticed it didnt work. I checked to see if it my Anker Powerline USB C cord became defecctive due to a crease from wear and tear, but the Anker cord worked fine in my other charger (Anker Ultra-Slim 45 watt). The charger that doesnt work still lights up which is strange. I dont know what could be wrong with it. This is my first issue with an Anker product which isnt a big quibble considering all the other stuff that I have made by them that still works greats. I hope their Ultra Slim 45 watt charger lasts longer than this one did though.

I had the charger for a month and it worked ok but then one night I am laying in bed and I heard a cracking sound. I looked and the box and it was sparking like it was gonna blow up. I was scared but I unplugged it and will never use it again. I would not recommend this. I think it is a fire hazard
