> 3 dayLike most, we have all bought cables that are great for the first month and then slowly start to crack open or have issues with the connector. This is the second cable I have bought for myself (fifth total) and it is only because the first one I have is a USB-A to USB-C and I wanted a USB-C to USB-C. The first cable has been through a few phones, and still works great and looks brand new. I love that Anker also includes a cable tie with all their cables which keeps them from getting tangled up. I have said this is my go-to brand for all my electronic devices and I mean it.

10-04-2025I have several of this cable and they have performed great! With the discounted price on Prime preview days I ordered another. I have many Anker products and never an issue to date. This one smells of a strong terrible musty odor. I will wait 24 hours to see if the odor dissipates and if not this will be going back! It appears to me that Anker may have changed the exterior of this cable at some point which may contribute to the odor. Whatever the case it’s intolerable at this moment.
