Only the front is hard shell thats not that hard. The case itself is a soft case with a semi hard front. Everything fits very loosely inside and will slam into each other. Not bad for the money, but dont expect it to protect much.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I have tried several out and finally found one I like but cant post it! With the dock that charges everything you have to put the controllers curtain way which is not good for the charger on the controllers. This lets you put it in just right and everything fits. I can tell you that the bag I did keep you can unzip one of the zippers and it expands the backpack!! Hope this helps and saves you time and money

Great look we’ll made product with a good price. Zipper is good quality with padding on the the back for comfort.

I like it but the price point is a little high for whats included. Sold to my roommate and bought a better one. The straps on the inside to secure the headset are weak and let the headset move around too much in the bag. I recommend looking for the camo bag at the same price point as its actually smaller and fits everything perfectly with no wiggle room.

This carrying case is just what my kid needed to protect the Occulus Quest 2 and theres plenty of room for the extras too.
