Great great antenna

This pulls in some distance signals that are being broadcast via repeaters for the fire departments in my area. The antenna is rather tall and can be heavy as for as using with a hand held unit so you have to be careful when using. Other than that it seems to allow the pulling of more stations, but I wouldnt use it as a traveling antenna.

It sucks

I use this on a hand-held scanner to monitor the local fire and railroad frequencies. It works great for my needs.

I purchased this to try on a CB radio, but this antenna is not TX (transmit) capable. I afterward ordered a bearcat digital trunk scanner and this antenna is working great with it.

Way to top heavy. Kept making the radio top heavy and made it fall over.
