> 24 hourIve used Johnson & Johnsons talcum powder for years, really a hygiene staple. But after that lawsuit the other year it seems to have disappeared from the shelves. Anti Monkey Butt to the rescue! This stuff is great. And its pleasantly scented without the outlandish floral scents some of the J&J stuff would have. Part of my daily use, I like it more than J&J. If youre not alarmed by the potential health risks of talc, highly recommended! (For those unaware of this health risk thing, theres been a scare that talc can cause cancer. Talc that contains asbestos can cause cancer when inhaled but that stuff isnt used in modern consumer products. The abestos-free talc in use today, there is no evidence that inhaling it causes cancer. The other cancer concern around talc is if it causes ovarian cancer in women, assuming it has a chance to work its way up in there. It was these sort of claims that led to lawsuits that resulted in nearly $500M in damages against J&J. However, those awards were recently overturned in court due to insufficient evidence. The truth is there is little to no evidence linking talc to ovarian cancer. If you still dont want to take the risk, dont use talc. And if you dont have ovaries, even less cause for concern.)

> 24 hourGold Bond changed their formula to be talc-free, and its just a mess, so i decided to find a comparable item that still contained talc. As you can see from the screen grab, this supposedly does. It does not. Its the newer, talc-free version. Returning.

> 24 hourIt has a funny name, but after 250+ miles of hiking I still didnt have any chaffing or blisters. To be honest, I changed socks and powdered my feet with this every 3 - 4 hours and reapplied elsewhere whenever I took a bathroom break; however, any long distance hiker knows that butt chaffing and blisters on the feet spell doom. I didnt give it 5 stars because I honestly think that baby powder could have done a similar job... but I am not certain.
