If you’re looking at these to replace the latch that holds the door or cargo lid on any exterior part of your trailer/RV this is the product to use! The quality & price are very surprising! I’ve used them everywhere I possibly could and replace the plastic cheap ones with these. Extremely pleased with these little latches!!

Got a set of these to replace plastic latches on my 15 year old jayco. Fairly sturdy and look well made. Of course they dont put the holes in the same place as the older plastic versions so you can reuse one hole, plug another and drill a third. Pretty strong spring action, holds the door open nicely. Satin finish on the outside part. The rubber used is pretty squishy as someone else noted, but I used sealant as well arould the base and in the screw holes.

Not so easy to install. Holes are 3/4 center, but OEM holes are 7/8. Wish one hole was elongated slot.

I had to replace a couple that I snapped off the RV. Easy replacement and they are better quality then the originals.

The spring on the original latch on one basement door broke so I ordered these to replace it. With the multi pack I also added them to the doors that didnt come with latches, now all the doors can be latched back while open.

So nice to find actual metal when you can, they are listed as stainless steel and should hold up better over time since they are mounted on an RV. We just started using them so time will tell but we anchored them using double sided Eternabond available here on Amazon as well. We did not want to drill into the side of the RV. So far holding up very well. Price was affordable but in general the fact that they are metal had me sold!
