API NITRITE TEST KIT 180-Test Freshwater and Saltwater Aquarium Test Kit

I performed accurate calibration using distilled water and nitrite-ion calibration solution. Every time testing results were 2-4 times lower than expected. 0 and 0,1 values are not distinguishable at all. It is hard to match sulution and scale colors because scale has much more of red.

Does what it suppose to do

Test seems to work, showed varying levels as new tank was cycled. The small glass tube warped somehow when I didnt empty the solution. Either chemical reaction or from too much exposure to sunlight on window sill? I dont know but it crumbled into small shards. Pretty annoying.

API has quality kits, easy to use, very clear instructions, consistent quality. We use them all and buy again and again.
