Love the form factor etc my biggest concern and reason for return … NO FRONT FACING CAMERA PORTRAIT MODE?? How is this possible? My portrait mode selection defaults to the selfie camera, and the circle arrow to switch the camera lens disappears!

Hookup was magic since I still had my old one. It transferred everything from my old one to this new one. I thought it was going to be a suicidal mission but I couldn’t believe how easy it was. But I don’t know how to use the camera and other features and there is just a small sheet of paper with a couple of basic diagrams.

Love this iPad. Had an iPad Air previously; but, this one has so many features that I still do not know how to use. With my iPad Air, I would have to plug it in after a few hours of use while with this iPad the battery last for the entire day without charging. Love it.

Ive always lugged around laptops with enormous power bricks to do all my administrative work along with video editing and occasional photo editing outside of the house. Other than heavy video editing in Davinci Resolve, the iPad pro + Magic Keyboard can do everything else I need including dumping footage from media cards to external drives and editing photos in Lightroom. Battery life is great and screen brightness/clarity is excellent. Most of the time I can just carry around the iPad with a small charging brick, and its much more convenient for getting all my work done other than video editing.

The lack of a home button and Touch ID was unsustainably inconvenient. Face ID didnt work at all. The gesture that replaced the home button was buggy and worked less than half the time. So, for all the beauty of the display and the speed of the processor, if I cant easily navigate and must use my passcode instead of a biometric ID, it just isnt worth it.

other than it has new connection cables which I knew its fine. for the price One adapter lightning to C would have been helpful

I bought this for my wife. It is much better quality with a better display and touch screen than her previous other brand. I have one too and love it because it syncs with my Apple desktop and iPhone. She doesnt do that by her choice. She loves it to surf the net but plays games the most. High quality. Good battery life. Very durable. I still put on a screen protector and a nice case like I would any pad but compared to other pads I think this would hold up as well if not better. We would get another if a model with new important features come out but it would have to be dramatically better and I dont think that will happen in the next few years.
