Aqualexs Aquarium Ohko Dragon Stone Rock Mixed Sizes

Got the small bag of mixed size stones. Bag was actually quite large and consisted of stones anywhere from pebble size to one that was about 4x6x2 Great selection of size, dimension and appearance for your project.

These were amazing pieces, especially for the price. Packed very well. These stones are made of ancient clay, they need to be washed well and very gently. Great for vivariums with red plants, the iron in the clay will brighten the reds. Aquarium safe as well.

Very dirty as others have mentioned so no surprise there! Packaged well for shipping and I received a nice variety of sizes.

Know what will make you feel dumber than a box of rocks??? Buying a box of rocks! Know whats worse??? Having an ugly aquarium! *Excuse the new tank* So buy these rocks in a box! You will feel dumb, then you wont! Your aquarium will thank you! Your fish will feel like theyre movin on up!

I don’t believe I received 5 lbs of rock, but I never even got that far to weigh the material. Each end of the rock ended with a saw cut. Only one rock had a natural end. And to make matters worse each rock’s thick end had a 45* cut into it...so you couldn’t stand it on the base end naturally. And again, if you did have it at an angle, it would look like the top of your “mountain” was cut off. Stupid!

I ordered these yesterday and they got here today. Insanely fast shipping and overall great quality. Mine came in a wide range of colors and sizes. Included purples,pinks,oranges and other varieties. The largest piece we got was about 10 inches and looked very nice. They also gave us 22 pounds when we ordered 20 which was really nice.

So good so far.

Great stones, came with 3 various sizes for the 5 lbs option. My only problem is they are more so designed to be laid flat rather than upright which I was looking for. Either I would have to buy more to prop them up together or add so much substrate that it would take away real estate from my fishes. Def need to clean before putting in your tank.

First, im a bit disappointed in packing. They are just thrown into the box with no protection between them. Just taking them out, a couple of the larger pieces broke bits off. This being said; I was worried buying these online. Normally i go to my local aquarium enthusiast store to hand pick the bits i want. But with my car current out of commission and crayfish eggs about to hatch, i needed some nice dragon stones for the hatchlings to hide in and under. To my surprise, i got some very nice pieces! Very pleased with the size and shapes! And, pound for pound, these stones are around 2$ cheaper then my local store. I will continue browsing my local store for the absolute best pieces. But i will certainly buy from here again. 2L pepsi bottle included for size comparison. Very nice! Just a tip for the sellers though.. A bunch of competition in amazon seem to individually wrap each stone for protection. Have a look into it please?
