AquaTeak Patented 18 Sumba Lotus Teak Shower Bench

Just what I wanted. I am using it as a bench in my bathroom. Right size and it fit just where I wanted to use it.

This is a WONDERFUL teak shower chair that my wife absolutely adores! It has been a real hit and she would not be without it ever again.

Use this bench in our steam shower, and love it. Very well made, and has that Teak smell I love.

The product came well packaged. Assemble should be easy BUT when I started to assemble the screw inserts in the top of the stool seat did not line up. One of them was place on an angle which made it put stress on the leg assembly. After much frustration the screws were started by lifting the stool seat enough the force the screws to start and then twisting the stool as I tightened. I worry the additional stress will cause the wood to split and the chair to fail. The second thing that was frustrating was the Allen wrench they sent did not fit the screws. It was a cheap knock off so I had to use my own wrenches to assemble. Please add a better wrench or don’t send on at all.

The stool arrived in perfect condition with very sturdy packaging. It is fairly easy to assemble, and I would have given this item 5 stars if it werent for the cumbersome allen wrench connections and the cheapskate assembly tool made in Lilliput. A hex head slotted screw would have been far better. After a few busted knuckles during assembly, I retrieved a legitimate allen wrench from my toolbox, and the process got easier. But the wood is beautiful and the finished product is very nice, albeit heavy. The height of the stool is 17, which is a comfort height on toilets. If your calf bones are short, you may find it the stool a bit too tall.

The bench is solid, heavy sturdy and well built. I use in in the shower and dressing room. None better in my opinion
