Good for big fish tank

It does the job

These do not work the best on the larger exotic goldfish but probably work great on the smaller ones. It does reduce the ammonia, however, they do not last very long for the price you are paying. You are better off going to the pet store and buying the $12 ammonia reducing filter pad that’s huge and cutting your own to size. You could probable get 30 out of the cut yourself ones from the pet store.

What can be said about refill filters for a fish tank. They are as advertised. This filtration system is a good value and quiet. I have a 55 gal fresh water tank with four large fish about 6”. I recently learned the larger the fish the more oxygen they need. I recently added a power head Which is an eye sore but I saw a massive improvement in the fish’s behavior. This also makes the filtration system work harder meaning you will need the clean the filter more often.

The Aqueon (3 pack) Cartridge Ammonia Minipad Quiet Flow filters for the Aqueon #75 Filter pump work amazingly well. Very easy to install and they truly help keep the water sparkling clean in the aquarium!

Works the way it was meant to work. Better price then most Pet stores. Easy to install and remove.
