I love the ease of purchase of this fine staple.

I ordered this paper expecting white watercolor block. Instead what was sent consists of black sheets of paper!! There is no written indication that this is black...No words, black, noir negro, printed on the cover.... Is this just one-time mistake they made at the manufactures and I happened to get this, or??? Totally disappointed!! Id like an exchange for a white-sheet Arches, watercolor, 140lb, 20 sheets, 100% cotton block. Thats what Id expected! [email protected] Berkeley, CA

Exactly what I wanted. This is a very high-quality watercolor paper, and although expensive, its well worth the money.

The creme de la creme of water color paper! Worth the money! It’s so much easier to get the results you want from watercolor, so it’s great even for beginner painters.

No where did I see that this was black paper. All the photos were of white paper, no where in the description does it say black paper, so I believed it to be normal white watercolor paper. I felt I was misled by this. I cant return it because I opened the packaging.

You already know its the best, go ahead and treat yoself!

No buckling, use right on the block and it turns out perfect every time. Great paper!

Really enjoyed using the hot press version of Arches for the first time. I’m working on expanding my skills with watercolors, having started painting only a year and half ago. I do recommend that others with my level of inexperience do some reading about the different ways that washes will react with hot press paper compared to cold press paper. I did find that there was less time to apply large multiple colored washes wet into wet, but it didn’t prevent me from creating a final product that I liked. As always, Arches paper quality was impeccable. Very satisfied!

Yep, it really doesnt buckle, even with a lot of water on it. Arches paper is not necessarily my favorite since it tends to fuzz-up, but this worked well for me.

I love the idea of a pad of Arches paper no stretching!
