Do you really need to read this? AS-5 is, and has been, the best hands down silver base thermal paste I have ever worked with. Sure there are other brands out there. I have been, and always will be, faithful to AS-5.

you just cant go wrong with arctic silver 5 and of course if you use it a lot you want to get more dont think too much about it this is what you want no other product is better just gotata shop around for the cheapest price

I keep a tube with me. In case I have to remove a heatsink for someone or build a computer for a client.

The price is actually very good for the quality you receive on this particular thermal paste. Dont be afraid and dont go cheap. Spend that extra five to ten dollars to get this because it works like a dream. This is the real deal Holyfield.

Thermals are important. When I first built my PC Two years ago i used the thermal paste provided with the cooler. Just refurbished my setup with a newer cooler and decided to go with arctic silver and I am amazed at how well it disperses the heat. Running AMD products things get hot. Went from 60C to 35C at idle. Hardly break over 65C while under load now.

spreading peanut butter is easier. used the edge of an old credit card to get the even coverage.

If I buy something electrical with heatsinks I pretty much always replace it with this stuff as everything usually comes with the crappy white thermal grease on it. Every little bit helps and Arctic silver is one of the best.

This is probably the absolute best thermal paste that Ive used. Ive seen improvements of 14 degrees Celsius when compared to other brands like Cooler Master, MASSCOOL, etc....
