Great mounted right up

Depending on where you are mounting these, they can be a pain. If you use a drill, be prepared to go in at an angle as there is not enough space to go in straight. But once its up and secure it works well.

I have two of these mounts. Both are outside in the humid South Florida weather, but are under an eve and therefore out of direct rain. Ive only had them installed for a week, so I cant talk about longevity or rust, but I can say they are very solid. I screwed them into my house using drywall screws, and then used white caulking to cover the black screw heads. Im pretty sure I could literally hang off of them now. Some others said they were hard to adjust, but I had zero problems with adjustment or lock-down. My only concern, and its not a huge deal, is that the plastic lock nut that you screw on to stop the camera from turning is pretty pathetic. It doesnt stop the camera from turning at all, really. I may change this out knurled brass 1/4-20 nut so it can be locked down securely and wont rust onto the mounting stud. For the money Netgear charges for these things, I kind of expected something more secure than a stupid plastic piece that does little to nothing. One star off for the locking nut, but otherwise its a great mount.

These should come with the Arlo camera as they are needed for outdoor so someone cant easily steal or knock your camera off the magnetic ones that come with it (which are cool, but not as secure, plus get in the way of cords if you plan to use any).

These work really good. Have had it up on the exterior of my house for a month know with no issues.

This mount is very versatile in the ways you can point your camera. Its easy to adjust to point the cam exactly where you want it.

Yes, this mount is useful and does what it is supposed to do without issue. However, I dont see the value in purchasing this name brand mount over the many generic camera mounts at less then half the cost. Outrageous pricing for this one. It appears this is simply about bring in more revenue without justification of value just because the Arlo camera product is outstanding and has high value. It is NOT like other companies where they do maintain true value throughout their assessory line. For example, Apple iPhones are great as are their true Apple lightning charging cables. The generic Apple cables at a quarter or less the cost do not last anywhere near as long. If you purchase more than one Arlo camera, save yourself money and purchase generic mounts.

Caution: the screws are the weakest possible. The arm is perfect for its function and works well, but DO NOT use the screws that come with the product.
