    Quality Stud kit, the last stud Ill ever need for this motor and comes with enough assembly lube for multiple installs. Was a little worried about finding the right 12 pt socket for this - 1-1/6, but I found one at the first auto parts place I went to (Oreilys).

    This stud kit worked perfectly for my 2005 Chevy Avalanche Z71 4x4 LTZ Flex Fuel Truck. I was taking off everything so that I can do an oil pump change on my truck because it had a ticking under the hood that everyone told me was a lifter knock. I wanted to try this and a trunion and push rod upgrade first to see if it would fix the problem. Keep in mind that I decided against changing the lifter and camshaft after checking for metal shavings in my oil pan and once I removed the oil pan and the plate inside the oil pan, I could see the camshaft. I turned it manually and could see that the whole thing was smooth and glassy, so I knew that there was nothing wrong in that area. Plus, there were no metal shavings in my oil pan. I changed the oil pump and this stopped the ticking under my truck (5.3L). I did the trunion upgrade because I heard that after 150,000 miles, these cheap what I call half moon trunions that chevy puts in their LSs tend to wear out and break and end up in the engine, which can do damage inside. I definitely didnt want that, so I changed the trunions to what I call full moon trunions and put a slightly bigger rod in for good measure. My truck is running beautifully. Anyway, this stud kit worked wonderfully.

    This is very much worth it considering the stock pull is throw away after taking the bolt off. This can be reused.

    Great product.... Put it on my 2005 corvette LS engine balancer .. better than factory bolt... factory bolt is crap dont use GM bolt.

    Didnt really want to buy but went to put a new normal torque ro yield bolt in and it would have been like 350ftlbs. Was just stupid and I was afraid of breaking something. So tosses it aside and got this bolt that was perfect. Make sure you have the socket which I did. Advice is use arp for the LS head bolts as well. Tried to use standards and they were bent and junk. Arp tried and true great stuff.

    This and the homemade flywheel starter holder is awesone. 1 1/16 12point socket too

    Greater than one week

    A must have over the stock GM torque to yield bolt, especially if your installing a aftermarket damper (harmonic balancer). Just be ready to torque it to 235 ft-lbs!
