ASAs Color E6B Flight Computer

First pair I got were a bit bent, but manufacturer let me keep the bent one and sent me a new one. I straightened out the bent one and gifted it to a friend. Otherwise, took me all the way through my pilots license no issue. Ive stuffed it in a back pack full of pilot stuff and it has yet to bend or distort. The ink on it has not ran and remains in near perfect condition after almost 4 years of use.

Mine didnt come in color...no big deal, just would have been nice to get the right item...

Great quality, love this thing! Not much to say other then, it does its job, looks good doing it, and has the feel and build to last!

I bought ASAs Color E6B Flight Computer but I received the ASA E6B Metal Flight Computer. I lost $3.95.

I used to have an older Jeppesen aluminium E6B that has been in my flight bag for many years (and is sadly no longer available to purchase); I bought this ASA Color E6B as a replacement (now that I am working towards my CFI ratings, I wanted to have a new unit), and I am quite pleased with the build quality; the aluminium is a little bit thiner, but everything fits nicely together unlike some cheaper knockoffs and it runs smoothly; moreover, it is very readable, Id say better than my old Jepp E6B, so I am very pleased with this purchase.

I believe a metal flight computer is the way to go. This one is bullet-proof and cheaper here than Ive found in aviation shops

E6B; ordered one for each of my children who are taking flying lessons. Old school but important to understand and see graphically the effects of wind on course.
