Greater than one weekI bought this computer to use for graphic related processing. I have used it less than 10 times while still using my old computer and planned on implementing when I upgraded my computer area. I occasionally surfed the web and downloaded a few 3d related programs and went to start it one day and it came up with a black screen saying Please follow the steps below to recover your BIOS

> 3 dayThis laptop gets hot quick when gaming, even after I bought a cooling pad, even had to get a new keyboard because playing on a hot keyboard got old quick, wish it had more fans and wish the fans were more powerful, other than that tho this laptop is pretty good, would recommend upgrading ram for it, slapped in some 32 gbs for this thing and works great now, good purchase over all

> 3 dayI haven’t tested this for editing 4k for work yet. For vector and pixel based art programs, I never had any buffers longer than 10 seconds. With the art pad and near everything… it work flawlessly with creators driver on the graphics card. Great price.

> 3 dayRunning Debian Linux with the NVidia drivers, I was able to (thanks to the community Kernel contributions, and no thanks to ASUS) dual boot Windows and Linux with only one issue so far: Sound doesnt work. Bluetooth and wifi works (need the firmware on your install media to do a netinstall), my gaming headphone dongle works as a workaround, but the onboard sound is no go. Primus works. Performance in games is good. But theres no audio output yet.

> 3 dayI just received my 2023 ROG STRIX G16 and there is no number pad. WTH?!? I spent a month reviewing laptops and chose this one because I wanted the performance without the large keyboard with number pad on the side. I chose this one because it is advertized as having the number pad built into the mouse pad and it DOES NOT!
