This is a really good laptop. Every game that I have thrown at it runs smoothly. Call of Duty runs great. Forza Horizon 5 runs great. GTA runs great. Battery life is what should be expected of powerful gaming laptop like this. When unplugged youll get a couple hrs if running it on the highest settings. If you optimize it and put it on silent youll get more out of it if you want to run light tasks like browsing the web or using other light tasks. The touchpad has its issues. There is a delay in the movement of the cursor and at times the touchpad just stops working. Both are frustrating especially in situations where I dont have my mouse. Id expect issues like this to not happen on a $2000 computer. Other than the touchpad this computer is solid choice. Definitely loving it.

Just incredible. the feeling to the touch is just pleasant. I feel like typing on the keyboard all the time. The only downside is the lack of a built-in camera. But I stay Asus.

This is the perfect upgrade to my last Alienware laptop and less expensive than what I paid 3 years ago for similar level laptop. Fantastic specs - runs every game new and old as well as VR stuff. Lets see how future proof this one is

I did a LOT of research for a new gaming rig. Normally, I build Desktops. but decided to look and se what Laptops had to offer. Now, I am no E-Sports gamer or anything, but I love for my games to run smoothly. I connect this thing to my Samsung Odessey G9 (5120x1440 native) and crank everything to max and go... Games run smooth, the fans arent too loud and I would highly suggest a cooling pad to get just a bit more out of this thing.

My particular job requires the use of many VMs running all at once, so I was really keen on getting a laptop with an i9 processor. Looking in that market, anything with an i9 is easily $2K and onward. I picked this laptop up on the recent Amazon Black Friday deal for $1,649.99 which was an absolute steal! Im a big fan of the sleek black thin look (which is not common among some of the other gaming laptops like Alienware) along with the option to disable the extra lighting (it looks great with it on). Its just a personal preference of mine to not have my laptop look like a Christmas tree in a professional work environment. I just threw MW2 on here and it runs maxed out with a solid 60 fps throughout. This truly is an all-in-one package for me in terms of work and play. I went out of my way to upgrade my ram to 64 GB for the purposes of running multiple VMs and it runs fantastically. My only caveat (but this is common now-a-days with these manufactured laptops) is the little amounts of bloatware that was present in the operating system; but that was a quick uninstall. All in all, fantastic product with a great build, I am really glad I pulled the trigger on this purchase.

This laptop is a speed demon. I get 12550 on 3dmark and that’s stock out of the box. You can get as high as 14k if you overclock. The Intel cpu scores way higher than amd as well. They did awesome this generation. The only thing is I didn’t get a soft case like I see on many reviews. I am in the USA and got it from Amazon on Black Friday for 1600 usd. I used the saved money to buy a 64gb memory upgrade and bought a 2tb wd black 850x that scored 6900 read and 6700 write. That’s a great score since you never get as high as most advertise. The advertised speed is 7300. I have been using this laptop for 3 months and it hasn’t crashed yet.

This is a great gaming computer but it does have a few shortfalls for a computer that is in its price point.

    Great laptop.

Compete at the highest level of Windows 11 gaming with the ROG Strix SCAR 15 gaming laptop. Take on any challenge with a powerful 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900H CPU and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU. ROG Intelligent Cooling lets the GPU crank all the way up to 150W of power and next gen DDR5 RAM and PCIe 4.0 SSD lets you spend less time waiting and more time playing or creating. Don’t worry about slow external transfer speeds or connecting to multiple displays with the Thunderbolt 4 port. With a competitive edge this sharp, you can dominate any arena.
