> 3 dayI received this laptop on 03/04. The hard disk failed to boot on 04/24. I followed the instructions on the computer went through tests and found out that there is hard disk failure. I even followed the built-in ASUS troubleshooting guide and still could not boot it up. I contacted Amazon service rep on 04/25. He said it is still under warranty and I will received a free replacement. For some reason our communication was cut-off so I had to re-connect after I had time. Another service rep took me to troubleshooting department. I followed her instructions for almost 2 hours and still could not get it work. At the end she told me to wait for the sellers response. When I received sellers message in the morning of 04/26, I was appalled The warranty does not cover any physical damage and/or customer induced issues that your device has. So I asked for his clarification. He responded that he will offer repair but no replacement. However, he did not mention a word about my most concerned - protecting my privacy. Hence, I request a replacement, and the response I received is Please be noticed that Amazons return-for-refund/replacement window is 30 days after delivery and your order is not eligible for it now. We are not talking about refund, we are talking about a faulty product that is still under warranty! The sellers policy is inconsistent and varies from customer to customer. My concern is how he protects the privacy on my disk! If he cannot provide an assurance why should I take the risk? This is not even $200, the repair cost might even exceed the sales price. I have purchased 4 laptops from Amazon and I did not request a replacement at all, even the most trashed one I had purchase. But this one, the hard disk failed in 2 months? This seller is not trustworthy.

> 3 dayIt does everything advertised. The size is compact. The laptop feels durable. Its no gaming pc but for the price its hard to beat. Mine came undamaged and runs smooth. I would recommend this over other compact computers, like the chrome book.

Greater than one weekId purchased the unit for field work based on its semi-rugged design and diminutive size but was completely blown away by its capabilities. Despite its small size, the keyboard is quite usable with an excellent feel and the screen is on-par with units at a far higher price point with support for both touch and pen inputs to boot! Complimented by a full WIN10 Pro installation, this laptop was a true bargain.
