> 24 hourAs far as the laptop itself, I used it to play some online MMOs, and played a couple of AAA titles on it as well. I was surprised to see how well they ran on this machine. It won’t be your go-to for heavy duty gaming/modding but it’s more than serviceable. I like the weight and feel of it, the keyboard and backlight, all in all I felt like I received good value for the product.

> 24 hourWell thought out all around machine. Designed for the gamer on a budget, can play any game and play them well. Med-High 1080p around ps4 pro capabilities in a laptop.

> 24 hourTwo days before the warranty expired my laptop simply wouldnt turn on. I tried trouble shooting the problem to no avail. I was going to call customer service but assumed Id need the sales receipt to take advantage of the warranty. The laptop was purchased as a gift, so I had to contact that person to get the receipt. By the time I spoke with customer service the warranty had been expired one day. It turns out I didnt need the receipt anyway. They refused to honor the warranty because I had missed it by a day. I took it to a computer repair person and found out that my power adapter was defective and that the mother board was fried. The cost for repair was almost the cost of the laptop brand new. I contacted ASUS again to see how much they charged to replace a motherboard. They refused to tell me, instead insisting that I pay an $85 diagnostic fee. My local technician didnt charge for the diagnostic. I had bought my son the same laptop and the technician confirmed that his power adapter was also defective, giving inconsistent power levels.

> 24 hourOut of the box this thing was okay. After adding another 8GB stick of RAM and a 1tb SSD it screams pretty good now. The only issue I have with it and I am not sure if it is a Windows problem is that when it returns from sleep it takes a while to reconnect to the Wi-Fi even though I have it set in the settings to never allow it to go to sleep. The screen is absolutely beautiful and so is the keyboard but within a couple weeks Im owning it the LEDs for the spacebar no longer light up, not a huge deal as Im not that into RGB and have kept it off lately but still something thats rated for 2 million keystrokes I figured the lights would last a bit longer. Performance-wise I get a good 58 FPS on high settings with Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

> 24 hourOverall a terrific value for a gaming laptop. The GTX 1650 4Gb video card runs just a tad slower than a GTX 1060. Amd Ryzen 5 processor with 4-core is ample for gaming and HD editing in Premiere Pro. 8Gb of ram wasn’t enough for my apps, so I ordered an additional 8Gb stick for the available slot. See photos for model number of the Samsung stick. The case is light yet stiff plastic, keyboard and trackpad are not bad. I’ve had more expensive laptops with worse. 2nd 2.5 hard drive bay for expanded storage. The standout spec is the 120hz display, overall it looks great for gaming and editing. Some might pick on its color specs, nits, however ASUS includes a nice app to adjust to your liking. Overall wish I would have found this sooner, I’ve wanted a mobile gamer and light editing system for travel. This fits perfectly for my on the go needs.
