Audio-Technica HP-EP Replacement Earpads for M-Series Headphones,Black

Ive had my AT phones for many many years. The only part that ever needs replaced is the pads, but Ill tell ya, as soon as I lay eyes on the package that Mortal Kombat theme starts playing and only one of you is coming out alive

Considered other replacement pads but kept seeing comments about them altering the sound, which was unacceptable. These pads are very hard to put on and make my ears sweat with prolonged use just like the original ones did. But the sound is true and thats what counts most.

These replacement earpads simply do not last. The plastic covering cracks and flakes far too quickly. I also dont think theyre as comfortable as the original pads, but theyre not too bad. Knowing that they dont last, I wouldnt buy them again.

Accept nothing less than the genuine article. These last for years, whereas off brand pads start flaking in just a few months.

After 30 minutes, still unable to get even one new cover on. Finally figured out one way: position the pad 90 degrees from its final orientation and pull it on. With this position, the pad will stay on (if you dont have three or four hands). Youll need to get your fingers between the pad and the earpiece so you can pull the rest of the pad over. Then twist the pad into the proper position.

These are just as good as the originals. Unfortunately they suffer from the same problem as the originals in that they deteriorate and leave black flecks on your face. Hoping I can find some that dont so I dont have to buy an entirely different set of headphones.

Did in fact work fine on my M40xs. A little tricky to put on but of course that was going to be the case. I swear these replacements seem like they made my headphones sound ever so slightly closer to the other M50x headphones. Definitely a worthwhile candidate.

After several months of use - confirm this to be a good quality set. My eth-50x looks like new.

It is impossible to install these. After an hour of trying I threw them and the headphones in the trash. Will never by a product from this company again, complete trash... and that is where it ended up.
