This shredder is heavier than most. I bought it because it is different because Ive had four shredders and none of them have lasted very long. I dont use them much so I expect them to last several years but they normally get clogged and it cant be undone. Being that I usually put one or two papers through at a time and am careful,this shouldnt happen. Ive only used this one a few times but it seems strong.

While this shredder happily digests everything I throw at it, I agree with previous reviewers that the switch seems flimsy and does not inspire confidence in its longevity. Also, the removable bin is very thin and fragile. One drop on a hard surface will send you searching for a replacement. Good luck.

This is the best table shredder I have ever owned. I have owned a couple of others close to the same price but never anything as good as this one. It is much quieter, handles a lot more sheets, sturdier and does a much better job all around. Cuts up in tiny little squares. I purchased this shredder in white which is a nice change from the original black. Definitely would buy this again in the future.

I love the size and is well made. The bin is sometimes a bit tight to pull out but the best shredder Ive own.

This is perfect for the office. My old one was clunky and huge. This one is light, small, and easy to manage.

Received very quickly. Compact but pretty heavy, so stays put. Feels well constructed. Very small cuts, and surprisingly quiet. As you shred, good to pull out bin to even out shredded material so won’t pile up in one spot, but besides that, this is a definite keeper. Buy it. My last one lasted 10 years with a lot of use, so hoping this will be the same. Worth the price. This model seems so much better, smaller cuts, so quiet, auto reverse and on. Don’t hesitate. And yes, it’s cute.

Impossible to find a product with consistently great reviews these days. So far I am happy with the shredder, I wanted something compact and it fits in the perfect place. Bin is not large, but the tradeoff for fitting in the right space works for me. Not trying to use maximum number of sheets and have not tried CDs. Id rather take it a little more gently and have it last. Quiet and efficient.

Gave as a gift. Daughter loves it! Working as described.
