> 3 dayThe case itself was great, there was just one little problem. There is a minor defect on the little flap that holds the individual games. The stitching that makes one large compartment into two smaller ones is missing.

> 3 dayOverall, a four-star rating. The good (and its REALLY good!): The case is nicely constructed out of stiff nylon, and gives me plenty of confidence that my New 3DSXL will be perfectly safe under normal travel and use conditions. Note that this is a nylon travel case, and if youre planning on taking your 3DS along on, for example, a camping or rafting trip, youll want to go for something like a Pelican-style hard case. There are enough pockets to hold 16 games without doubling up, so you can carry plenty of gaming with you. The outer zippers appear to be up for the challenge that this case will see in its expected use. There is also a zippered pocket which will hold a screen cleaning cloth, earbuds, and a USB charging cable. The game console pocket fits my New 3DSXL perfectly, and keeps it snugly in place with lots of protection, but its still easy to retrieve when Im ready to play. The bad (and its minor): The zippered accessory pocket on the inside is not deep enough to accommodate the official Nintendo charger. With only the charger in the pocket, a New 3DSXL in the console pocket and no games in the game sleeves, it takes quite an effort close the outer zippers, and I cant help but feel that there are hard parts being squeezed together inside. I can only imagine that this would be even more of a concern with the full complement of 16 games in place, and even more so if the game pockets were doubled up. Currently, I use a 3rd party USB-based charge cable, and that fits fine. Overall, I am a bit surprised that a case designed for the 3DS would have such an obvious flaw. Overall, though, as long as youre not intending the pack the Nintendo charger, all is well!

> 3 dayI have lots of charms on my 3ds which this case doesn’t really accommodate well. But it’s otherwise sturdy, fits several games and has a spot to keep your charger, so I’m happy.

> 3 dayThis case is pretty great, so far. Fits everything pretty well; havent tried to put charger in with the system and games yet. I saw some reviews saying it could be a bit tight with the standard wall charger, but my charger is different, quite a bit smaller, more compacted. So, I think itll fit just fine; theres a lot of space still.

> 3 dayTo start off with the good the case has some really nice features. Its constructed out of stiff nylon that provides plenty of confidence that your 3DS will be kept safe. The 3DSXL fits perfectly into its compartment and if you plan to use it primarily for only carrying the 3DS unit then this unit is great. The issues arise with adding in the accessories. Now for the bad. As you can see in the pictures for my case there is a manufacturing flaw that makes some of the game sockets unusable. Its advertised as can be used to hold up to 16 cartridges but due to this flaw my unit can only hold 14. In my opinion this kind of flaw on a unit should make it fail quality control but mine was still shipped out to me. This is disappointing because if you research this case youll find this is not a consistent issue so you run the risk of the defect being in your unit when you order since this passes QC. The second big issue for me is the zipper pouch. Its advertised as fitting the charger but as you can see in the picture using the official Nintendo charger causes a large bulge in the pouch and the case does not close easily. I only have 5 games in the pouch and its a struggle to close it so I worry what would happen if I had all the game pouches full. Overall the case will get the job done for protecting your 3DS but in terms of being able to carry games and accessories with it there are better options out there.

13-04-2025Can’t hold both NEW 3DS XL and the charger. The holders for the game cartridges are also different sizes as some are super tight while others more loose.
