Im very new to 3d printing and the Creality Ender 3 pro was given to me for Christmas by my wife. I was having a lot of difficulty between prints with having to re adjust the bed leveling. I did some reading and it was highly recommended to upgrade the springs. I searched around and found this upgrade kit and it had everything I needed in one handy bundle. Springs worked perfectly and the metal extruder was going to be my next upgrade anyways. I definitely recommend this upgrade kit to anyone that is first starting out and having trouble with keeping the bed level.

This was a great addition to my new Ender 3 Pro. After researching the Ender 3 Pro for many months, I decided to purchase it along with a few upgrades. I figured it would be easier to go ahead and install the upgrades as I built the printer. I installed the springs first which really seemed to give much more control over the bed level. The aluminum extruder was the most complex part of the install, but overall it was a breeze. I received enough tubing to re-run the printer twice, so that was nice. Overall the kit quality was awesome and Im very satisfied with the purchase.

Great item at a great price, was only looking for the Capricorn tube but this kit came with so much more for only a few Bucks more. Fast shipping too.

The square mount piece I received is different from what’s pictured and other reviewers. Mine wasn’t tapped for the pneumatic fittings, instead it uses a plastic collet to hold the tubing in place.

Amazing deal and easy to install! Just make sure to keep the stock spring because the new one was too big. At least mine was, but other than that it works great!

Coupling failed, breaking the capricorn tubing... Looks like the tubing was turning in the hot end and was cut by the coupling. The coupling stopped holding the tubing and it was spinning in the socket. After the tubing failed it then clogged up causing an 8 hour print to fail... However the seller offered to send me new tubing and couplings to replace the defective one. Extruder works great and the bed springs are awesome too, bed holds level much better now.

I ordered this upgrade months ago in anticipation of my printer arrival which was delayed three months due to back order issues. Just tired to install and noticed the same as North Traveler did, that neither of the pneumatic fittings fit the assembly and that it was not even threaded. wow never buy from these guys again!

Absolutely terrible, it was missing threading from the place where you’re supposed to put the pneumatic connector. I came up with the solution of just super gluing a nut to it, which will probably come back to bite me in the ass later. No customer service. Terrible

We had originally bought this extruder kit a while ago. The one we got was the non threaded version. We were not happy. After reaching out to F1rst layer, they refunded us the price and promised to send us the correct extruder when it was in stock. A few weeks later we received the correct extruder. This one was threaded and all parts were of genuine quality. The install went smoothly and the extruder has been working wonderfully. We really applaud F1rst layer for going above and beyond in fixing the issue we had originally. They could have just refunded us the money and left it at that. However they kept in touch with updates on and fulfilled on the promise to send a replacement. Customer service on their end is outstanding.

A metal extruder is a must have for any Creality 3D printer. The plastic one is good, but will fail eventually.
