Everything is a little pricey, but it seems to me its a little thin compared to original automotive wire wrap tape Ive used being an automotive technician all my life.

Great stuff! Not so sticky that you cant work with it. It years off relatively easy, and gives a nice professional clean look while protecting against heat and engine bay conditions.

I wasnt impressed at first because the tape wasnt very sticky, but its goes on, sticks and stays there. A few days ago I needed to remove a piece and discovered how well it had bonded. It doesnt appear that it will unwind like plastic electrical tape sometimes does.

Great stuff wrapped up my engine harness for my Pontiac G6 2.4l just fine with one roll

I bought this for some wires in my engine compartment which are exposed to high heat. I was expecting a thick, insulating wrap; however, this tape is paper thin. While the tape itself may be heat resistant, there is no way it will protect the wires underneath it from heat--it is just too thin. Ill go looking for a true insulating tape and maybe use this over the top if it.
