Bought to use with the lights in the backyard. Works great!

Will not connect to wifi, until you disable the 5g If your router has 2.4 and 5. The 5g infers with connection. Plug only connects to 2.4 g Needs better instruction

Very difficult to pair to wi-fi. Worked for a while, then we had to replace our modem/router. Would not pair with the new modem/router. Tried to delete off my phone and reinstall. Unable to do anything with it. Guess its not compatible with newer modems/routers. It worked so well before. Now I cant adjust the programming or turn it on/off manually.

This item works really well. I do not have Alexa or Google or any of the hub. I simply use the smart life app which finds the plug and I can Control each outlet independently. I have one plug set up for my pool pump and another one for my outdoor lights on a timer.

This is a well made heavy duty plug, and lives up to its weatherproof rating, as it has been raining on it for weeks. I had a few glitches making it work with my homes wifi, and would disconnect randomly. I solved that problem by purchasing a small wifi extender and plugging it inside as close to the plug as I could. Totally fixed that problem! Hasnt disconnected so far.... I like the Avatar app, it integrates with Alexa, and can run timers, schedule lights, and even control them anywhere from my iPhone....
