My husband got this to use for file backups. He says it also has good transfer speeds. He’s happy with it and it is small and works well for him.

One of the things I love most about this USB driver is its practical design– it is built tough with a hard plastic exterior that protects the internal hardware by providing a durable shell that doesn’t scratch or dent, unlike its metal counterparts. The plastic design is also great for preventing overheating when in use and when left in the sun or in inclement conditions. Not only that but has a built-in spot for you to attach a keychain to it or a small string to carry it on a ring. I find myself losing these so often and want a way to keep track of them and this carrying design is perfect. Now for the actual storage capabilities; truly, I mostly use these to store old photos and videos. Being in the film industry, I have a TON of data that needs to be stored safely and reliably on other devices like this. I am getting overwhelmed with larger hard drives and this smaller USB is great for storing photos with less editing– in other words, my personal albums! This has given me an extra 250 GB of portable storage containment that I can bring with me anywhere or store for safekeeping. This is also a really fantastic USB because it comes with intuitive instructions and easy-to-follow steps for setup. Although it works like most other USBs, I sent one of these to my mom who is notoriously bad at using technology and she utilized the directions to ensure the proper setup. Additionally, there are plenty of helpful YouTube videos that will walk you through the setup for your particular device. Me, I’ve used this on a MacBook Pro and an IPad and both work seamlessly. Overall, this is a fantastic USB with a TON of extra storage for your photos and videos. This has been a life saver in providing me with peace of mind that my data and photos are safe here, while also knowing I won’t lose this because it can be attached to my keys!

I was honestly skeptical when I first saw this, but decided to go for it anyway. It definitely works as described and has a fairly fast transfer rate. This has become one of my favorite drives and I carry it with me frequently. I would definitely recommend this product to others!

There are so many little USB drivers today, it is hard to see much difference. This is a 250 GB USB drive, which is the same size as the drive on my laptop (so not huge, but big) and fast. I am not sure how to test how fast it is, but loading files onto it seems faster than other USB drives I own. I am always coping files from my home computer and bringing them in to put on my work computer, so having a big, fast drive is very helpful. And while it may seem strange, this has a snap on cap over the USB. I am always worried that I will put one in my pocket, or in my bag, the key will go into the USB and destroy any files on there, or break the drive. A little cap solves that, so easy, yet missing on every other thumb drive I own. My son looked it and said Dad, I could use one of those. I smiled at him and said that he could one of my old ones, this one is mine. Very nice product, works well, well made, 5 stars.

It’s pretty awesome that this tiny Axe Memory SSD USB drive is 500GB (465GB actual). It seem speedy enough and was totally plug-n-play. I’ve never heard of this brand before, so I hope it will hold up, and I will come back and amend this review if it doesn’t. Stat for running under Windows 10 attached as a snip/screenshot. 一見するとただのUSBメモリですが、中身はSSDなので読み書きが爆速です。 パッケージにはRead 600MB/s　Write 500MB/sと書いてありましたが、 CrystalDiskMarkで実測したらRead/Writeとも余裕で600MBを超えてました。 シーケンシャルだけでなく、ランダムもRead/Writeともに200MB/s以上と爆速だから、 ベンチマークは速いけど、体感は遅いという事もないです。 このSSD Driveは、SCSIの転送プロトコルをUSBで使用できるようにした USAPというUSBの拡張仕様に対応しているので、一般的なUSBメモリと比べて 超高速に読み書きができるのです。 ポータブルSSDも持ってるけど、この商品は普通のUSBメモリと 同じようなサイズで、圧倒的にコンパクト！ このサイズで、500GBの大容量というのも驚きです。 ボディはプラスチックなので高級感はないけど、その分軽量です。 放熱を考えると、金属ボディの方が良いような気がするけど、 ベンチマークを測定した感じでは、ほんのり暖かくなる程度で、 体温より低い温度でした。 <CrystalDiskMark> Sequential Read 632 MB/s Sequential Write 624 MB/s Random Read 239 MB/s Random Write 237 MB/s

For sure this is one of the fastest USB drives Ive ever used. Its not quite to the stated speed of 600MBs read but it did write faster than the stated 500MBs speed at around 560MBs as you can see in the screenshot I attached to this review. You could actually edit 1080p video directly off this drive. In reality if you are using a lower bitrate 4k video you might be able to edit 4k right off the drive. I hope this becomes the standard for USB drives now. Its amazing how fast this one is!
