nice high quality Axis camera. My only complaint is that these cameras are quite big compared to the older bullet camera it replaced. The older bullet camera had a separate controller. In this newer camera, everything is integrated and the network cable goes right to the camera. Kind of nice to not have to deal with the somewhat proprietary cable from the camera to the controller. But I liked being able to put the controller in a safe spot.

This is a solid product which I already knew because we had used it before. The big deal here was finding it available. Thank you for having it and for getting it out quickly!

Love the new Axis interface. Been using a mix of Axis and Hikvision over the last couple years. They might have convinced me with this unit that Axis is worth the slight price premium. And remember this is one of their lower end cams!

Axis cameras: THEY JUST WORK - A MONKEY COULD INSTALL THEM - You plug them in, you refresh the axis IP discovery program, log into the IP, set the network storage, and boom, youre done. No need to dig out that old DVD drive and reinstall it in your computer just to install a proprietary software CD that doesnt even have an option for English, and no need to download any shady Chinese software that installs a handful of deprecated Windows XP plugins and a desktop stripper. Axis cameras have a built-in operating system that will analyze the video and detect motion, and the amount of applets that Axis makes for their camera OS outnumber any and all competitors. They have an applet for everything - fire detection, dust detection, license plate recognition, people counting, people direction - and all these applications run off the camera itself, so no need to stay up all night trying to restore your VM server after Windows decides to force-shutdown and install an update that completely kills your computer. The simplicity of installing axis cameras has made me soft - and when I went to install some 100 dollar Hikvisions two days ago, it caused me to fully understand why Axis cameras are 200 dollars more than the Hiks, and why they are so much better - because I have yet to even GET AN IMAGE off these Hiks, even though ive spent two whole days troubleshooting and api-getting and npapi-enabling. If you live in the third world and still have Windows XP, then by all means -- get those Reolinks or Hikvisions and fight with them, but if you need something RELIABLE and SIMPLE, JUST GET THE AXIS CAMERA! I promise you, you will not regret it even once.
