My baby loves this teether we got it when he was 5 months old when he started teething really bad and it helped so much. Wish we had bought it earlier than that. It’s one of his favorite toys and goes with us everywhere. My son doesn’t like any of the other teethers out there so this was, and still is, literally a lifesaver. It’s easy to clean and very durable. Originally the bristles and nodules on it massaged his gums to help with teething pain. Now that he has his two bottom teeth we just squeeze a little baby toothpaste on it and brush them and he loves it. Makes him smile and giggle every time. I love it so much it’s something I plan on buying for future baby shower gifts and I recommend it to all new moms or moms to be that I meet. We still let him chew on it with stricter supervision, but once he gets more of his baby teeth we will have to take it away because I’m afraid he will chew the bristles off.

This is my sons favorite teether. When I got it I expected only the top to be squishy, but the entire thing is made of silicone so it is great for a baby to teethe on. Its easy for baby to hold and the peel handles keep baby from choking themselves with it. My son is 8 months old and has 7 teeth now and he hasnt chewed off any bristles or pieces and he adores this banana. He loves to use it on the back of his gums and has never been a fan of ring teethers. We do have pets and the silicone does attract hair/fur very easily, but we make sure to keep it clean and off the floor and a good teether does wonders for my childs mood so it is all too worth it. This is perfect and cute, thanks! UPDATE: My son is now 11 months and has 9 teeth and even with all of its use he has not bitten anything off. Its a hit and we keep buying it for friends. With a little baby toothpaste on the end he will go to town with it. He even shows his teeth for me now if I try to brush them with it. I dont think I would recommend it as your primary toothbrush, but it does help baby to be comfortable with having their teeth brushed. I can brush my sons teeth with a soft bristle brush now with no problems because he has been used to me brushing his gums with the banana for so long.

My daughter had this and LOVED it when she was an infant, and my son inherited it when he was born. My daughter wasnt a chewer/teether but it was a favorite of hers, but my son may actually be part shark, he chews on EVERYTHING. This shark is his absolute FAVORITE and has been a real life saver as hes been teething. I had to purchase a second one as I lost the first while traveling. Pro tip: pacifier clips fit on this perfectly and keep it within reach! Cannot recommend enough!

Bought this off of a friend’s registry for a baby shower and she really liked it! Shipped quickly and a good addition for a gift basket.

I was worried I had not started the repetition of daily brushing with my baby but her first teeth didnt start coming in until 10 months. The first time I gave her this brush she immediately began chewing (and brushing in a sense) on her own - as expected - but what surprised me was that she flips the banana brush to do the top of her mouth as well as the bottom, and the left as well as the right and even the front. I have been amazed that she figured this all out on her own simply because it naturally feels good to the growing mouth. Now I just stand at the sink with her and she does all the work. Dont hesitate, this is amazing. I will however add that you may want to add a bib when brushing or have them brush in their day clothes that you are tossing into the hamper anyway because chewing this (for my daughter anyway) causes more drooling than anything else she has ever chewed on! Its just that good I guess -

That being said, I am still giving a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 star review. Why? Well, the bristles are tightly nestled together, it goes into a babys wet mouth, so that is the nature of a product like this. It is my fault for not cleaning more. So take note, clean this more frequently. Def has longevity too. I bought this June 2018. It is now September 2020 and my 6 month old loves it. My 1st child was never a fan, but it was probably bouncing around the house from the time I ordered it until he was maybe 1. So 8 months? Not used much. With my 2nd child, I pulled it out when he was maybe 2 months and def his favorite. Some babies will love it, some will not.
