This is a fantastic soft adorable toy for a young baby. Silky soft. I wish I could do the softness justice in the review. Do you know how newborn hair feels so soft? Think of that. Several months back, I got my now 8 month old son satin crib sheets to prevent hair loss and he developed a habit of rubbing his face back and forth on the satin to soothe himself to sleep. He also does it on very soft blankets. Both sides of this lovey meet that criteria and he likes to rub it on his face. I like it because it’s a super clear indicator of when he’s tired. It washed really well the one time I washed it and came out with no issues. I love the turquoise color with the marine theme of the octopus. The octopus is just as soft as the rest of the blanket. This is a nice way for my son to carry a small, soothing object.
