Spreads good, good moisturizer

This is what it is… And we love it. We have been using bag balm for years as our grandma grew up using it on a farm and always had around her house. The texture is sort of like petroleum jelly in the scent isn’t anything amazing… BUT It’s healing properties supercede all that. It’s multi purpose for cracked hands, cuticles, lips, Put it on our feet at night. Longtime customers and will continue to be. It goes a very long way and less a very long time.

For years, I suffered through brutally cold and dry Michigan winters with terribly cracked hands, so severe that even making a fist would lead to pain and bleeding. I tried countless hand lotions and creams, but nothing helped, and some even made it worse! Finally, I decided to try this, and WOW!! Incredible results after the first use. This is the gold standard, S-tier for stubborn hand dryness. Moreover, it only takes a small amount per hand to make a difference. Yes, the smell is very industrial and rather unpleasant, but I recommend using this product as a moisture mask at night, while covering your hands with thick cotton tube socks -- not only to mask the smell and protect the cream, but so you can roll them up and not worry about accidentally removing them in the night vs. gloves. The smell washes off easily with hand soap, but my hands were still soft and smooth! I cannot recommend this product enough!

My wife has gotten me multiple different types of moisturizers and nothing has worked like bag balm.

Beware if you live in a warmer state, mine did come a little melted. I sort of wish I had gone with the to-go tube instead, since it can be a BIT messy to use the tin, but I cant deny how moisturizing this is.

I use this EVERY DAY and will continue to. My lack of transportation has made aware of the ease of online shopping. The hurry up and wait for this Vermont product to a Vermont address has me flustered and the in between delivery service is an inconvenience. It will arrive! It is worth the price!

Bag balm was recommended to me by a doctor I used to work for. She said it was the best cream for dry, cracked skin. As a nurse, constant hand washing really dries out your skin. I’ve put a good layer over my hands and wear knit gloves to sleep and by morning they are soft again. Our daughter was born without oil/sweat glands in one foot and it can get very dry. A thick layer of this with socks at night keeps that problem area in check. Truly the best I’ve used for dry skin.

I image Bag Balm comes in different sizes and containers. I find the cover on this one is a bit time-consuming to remove. Otherwise, the product seems fine; I cannot speak to the efficacy of it because I havent used it long.
