After doing a lot of research on balance bikes, settled on the Banana bike due to light weight and price. My 3 year old grandson loves it and rides it everywhere. Within a couple of weeks he was balancing well and speeding along. Very sturdy and yet light weight for a toddler to handle easily. Highly recommend!

I bought a Smart Gear Balance Bike for my first kid when he was one. He was almost three before he was tall enough to use it, and he is a tall kid. We bought this Banana Bike for my second baby this week. He is 15 months old and he can tippy-toe it just fine. He is in love. What is more, the three year loves this Banana Bike so much more than his Smart Gear bike. The seat is lower on this bike and the handles wider so a kid has more control and their center of gravity is low and in a logical place. The three year old is so much more brave and in control of this bike then the bike he has been riding for a year. The frame is metal, the wheels are solid so it will stand up to the basic use so much better than the Smart Gear bike we have, that is already falling apart. We paid more for the Smart Gear bike but, plan on getting rid of it and getting another of these instead.

Better than expected! We got this for my son who is 20 months and absolutely love it. It came packaged extremely well, it’s very sturdy and took my husband less then 5 mins to assemble. You cannot beat it for the price.

The tires on the bike are plastic, so not the best quality in my opinion (unless you fear popping the tire). That being said, they get the job done, time will tell if the standup to the test of time. The design is great though with the low bar which allows the toddler to swing his legs on and off the bike easily. edit plastic tires actually very useful where I live as there are tons of sand spurs which have created havoc on my bicycle & stroller tires.

Our 20 month old started riding this and by 23 months he figured out how to “stride” on it! Great quality

Has been a good product so far. The foam type tires are interesting. They dont have a much traction as rubber ones do, but I think I might actually rather have these for such a small bike. The seat post hangs a little low and has caught my kids leg a couple of times and scratched it. Im happy we chose to purchase this bike and would recommend to anyone

Love this bike! We live on a dirt/rocky road and my son had trouble riding his regular bike that had training wheels on the road. I was a little bit worried at first with this bike not having that extra support but my two-year-old son got on it Easter morning and wrote it like he has been riding it for years. Just in a few weeks my son can ride a bike with no training wheels now he still prefers his banana bike which we take everywhere. It fits perfectly in my small trunk of my Chevy traxs and so light weight that we can literally take it anywhere!

The box did not have any external damage from shipping. Purchased for a B-day and it was not rideable. Both wheels were warped out of the box. Thought were were getting a nicer one, should have bought the Walmart strider. Now making a late night run to Walmart so I have a present for my daughters birthday tomorrow. :( Wheels are plastic not aluminum.
