Why these cords so expensive??? This product is not the greatest of quality, they wear out very quickly. The price spiked from $7 to $30. It is absolutley ridiculous, especially since the Nook HD+ cant charge with any other cord. Not to mention its never available directly from B&N, only thru B&N via Amazon.

Be prepared to buy hundreds of these cords because they do not last. B&N really scammed millions on these special cords that dont work over a month. Dont think that a cheap replacement will work either because they made it so only their defunct cords work with the Nook. Im really disappointed as I have bought five of them in a year and a half. I am not hard on them I just read. I hate hate being in the middle of a good book, a real page turner then BAM my charger wont work and I have to spend more money and wait and wait to read my book. BUY ONLY KINDLES.
