My 7 year old son got this Pound Puppy for Christmas. He LOVES it and takes it everywhere with him! I am 33 years old and this was such a great memory for me, I loved my Pound Puppy and was so excited to give my son one. Definitely recommend! Great for any child!

I was a little cautious about ordering this Pound Puppy. I had read reviews that stated sometimes the puppy you got was not the one you ordered. I am pleased to say though that the puppy I recieved in record time was exactly the puppy I had ordered. I had one of these in my childhood, and while it is not the same (the foam of old is not used in these latest incarnations) it is a very good facsimile. A little smaller than the previous pups, but no less adorable. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

It looks the same as the one I owned in the 80’s, but with some improvements. The material is felt-like, more like a very short fur coat. Instead of a thread stitched in one spot of the foot to create the toe, there is stitching. The original design, the thread would fall off and/or break so that the foot would lose the appearance of having toes. The new design doesn’t have that problem. My youngest daughter loves this toy. I had one when I was her age, and it brings so many warm memories watching her enjoy this one.

I had a pound puppy as a child so we gave one to our son for Valentines Day. He loves it! He loved naming him. He take very good care of it too. My only issue is its definitely a lesser quality fabric and stuffing than Id prefer. I still have mine intact from 34 years ago. I dont think this one will hold up like that.

Well, its not exactly the same as the pound puppies that I had in the 80s, but it is super cute. The child that I gave it to loved it. For the price it was an awesome gift for her. It came with adoption papers, stickers and a name tag for collar. The box was nice too. Im ordering more to add to get pack. Shipped fast as lightning.
