> 3 dayThis is a cool little fan, pun intended. I have used it at the gym for over 4 hours total. It wont clip onto the sides of an elliptical or treadmill as shown in the pictures, but will clip onto the small lip/shelve on the elliptical and clip onto the cubby/lip on the treadmill just fine. I run it on the slowest speed and it moves a lot of air. I had to remove the 2 plastic covers on both sides to tighten the small screws to keep the fan pointed in my direction otherwise the fan kept slowly rotating downward and the air flow not at my neck/face area. Battery: I have many 18650 batteries that I use in my LED torches (Flashlights). The fans 18650 is a bit shorter than all my other 18650s. None of my 18650s fit into the battery compartment on this fan. So when this battery fails to take a charge I think that will be it. SkyGenius decal on the front of the fan is crooked, not level. I took it off and then reapplied correctly. Overall, I like it. SG battery is the one on the right. Its the pinkish/purple one. Notice the height differences.

> 3 dayI like the option of being able to use it with a plug-in and having a charged battery for when the power goes out, BUT, when the fan is plugged in, the fan speed control dial doesnt change the fans speed. So, it is at the slowest speed without any way to make it go faster while plugging in. But, when it is running on the battery the speed control dial works and you can adjust it from slow and gentle up to screaming like a banshee. But the biggest problem to me is that it is so damn impossible to clean the safety cages. The front one comes off with 3 screws, which is fine, but the gaps in the grills are so small that you basically need to detail it with a toothbrush. The blades dont come off, so you can clean the front, no problem, but the back of the blades are hard to get to without worrying if youre going to break one off. Then, theres the back of the safety cage. This one is made with the electrics housing built into it, which blocks airflow as well as your attempt to clean the grills. You cant run it under water to clean it, so its always at least a little dirty unless youre REALLY, unreasonably thorough. Im not a fan of this fan.

> 3 dayI have purchased many battery operated fans. This is far and away the BEST product in the bunch. I live in an entirely 12 volt, solar bus conversion. I need these fans to circulate heat down from the ceiling and away from my heating source. They clip on and stay put. I clip them into the bus hatch and they serve as a ceiling fan. Also, they rotate fully in every imaginable position. No rotating fan Ive bought does this. They come with a rechargeable lithium ion battery! So no more purchasing triple As or cycling through rechargeables that generally have to be recharged with 110. Now, you can easily recharge these with standard 110 just like you do your phone but I only have 12 volt. Get THIS, the fan has speed control! Turn the dial on and the more you turn it up, the higher the speed. On the lowest setting, the fans will run for approximately 10 to 12 hours on a charge. So for me, they will run through the night keeping the warm air circulating while I sleep. In the morning, I recharge them. One drawback, the little red LED that says its charging doesnt turn green for instance to let you know it is charged so you have to guess. I charged them for 5 or 6 hours and they were ready to go again. There was no visible drop on my solar battery voltage after charging them. 13.7 volts at start and finish so they must not use much power to charge (I have 3 of them). Im buying 3 more so I can have a set running and a set charging. Im so flipping happy.

> 3 dayWe used two of these fans for our twin babies at the zoo to keep them cool. We ran them on the lowest setting for four hours or more. They ran great and did a great job providing enough of a breeze to keep the babies cool and kept the mosquitos off of them too. We then used them for a couple of outings to keep the bugs off, also on the lowest setting before we had to charge them. So we probably ran them for about six hours on the lowest setting which is true to other reviews and the product description. The lowest setting produced a low hum that was audible but not obnoxious. At higher settings it was more obvious but all fans make some kind of noise so I wasn’t surprised. It’s obviously as portable as it can be, we were pleased with it. I only give things 5 stars if they go above and beyond my expectations. This fan does a great job for what a portable fan needs to do with a seemingly decent battery life. I haven’t really used it much beyond about 6 hours of use so I can’t vouch for its longevity or the battery’s longevity. But at least you can get extra batteries off amazon!

18-04-2025This is a great portable fan for the price. I got it for my son to use on the stroller in the hot months and it worked great. You can rotate it literally any direction, so I got to enjoy it too when he would run around. Now that it’s cold I use it in our bedroom in place of our larger fan since we have a newborn in there too. My issue with using it for long periods of time inside is the battery/ power level. When it’s charging it will only work on low, and when it’s not charging and on a higher level, it won’t last through the night. The low is pretty quiet as well, which could be a positive for some people, but I use a fan for the noise just as much as air circulation. I should also say this is my second fan from this company. The one I bought originally broke after about four months. The charging port just fell into the fan so it was basically useless. The company was AMAZING to work with though, and within a few days I had a new fan sent out to me. All in all, I highly recommend this fan and company.

> 3 dayTHIS REVIEW HAS BEEN EDITED because I thought the fan was defective, when in fact it was my diagnostic logic that was defective. :P This fan is great. I like the design, the clip is strong, the positionability is awesome, the power draw is low, its super quiet, the effectiveness is stellar. I live in my truck and having a working fan is super important. I bought this particular fan instead of cheaper alternatives because it was well-reviewed and seemed like it would hold up more reliably than others. Ive been using it for a few weeks now, and so far so good -- Im really impressed! When I previously posted this review, it was one star because I thought the fan had stopped working. It wasnt the fan -- the problem was that the power source I was charging it from was pushing low voltage. And I was just barely a few days outside the return window, so I posted a negative review hoping that the seller would be willing to refund or replace the fan. As you can see in the comment replies below, they responded right away and were happy to stand behind their product and send a replacement. Thats AWESOME, and I value that really highly! So five stars for the product, but also five stars for the seller having integrity and being prepared to replace any defective units. For that professionalism alone, I will definitely be giving this brand/seller extra consideration in the future if I need to purchase other things they carry. 10/10 fan, 10/10 customer service experience (even though I didnt end up needing the replacement at all!). If youre thinking of buying a fan in this price range and want these features, I really dont think theres a better option on Amazon right now.

> 3 daythis fan has a couple features that make it a 5-star product in my view. 1) from a full charge, on the lowest speed, this fan will run for 6+ hours. and ive found that the lowest speed is very powerful and quiet - great if youre running it while sleeping - so i doubt ill ever need a higher speed which might drain the battery more. set on low, the amount to air/breeze is plenty! 2) the clip is super strong - such an important feature! i accidentally left the fan clipped inside my car and went for a drive on a mountain road and it never budged an inch! thats a big one for me. 3) versatility - you can clip the fan to anything and it can be turned, rotated 360 degrees in virtually any direction so you can direct the air flow exactly where you want AND it will hold there! it wont move. it is a perfect, quiet cooling addition to my Honda Fit. highly recommended from a picky car camper.

> 3 dayI exercise on lunch at work and have had the problem of difficulty cooling down while trying to get dressed afterward - especially because the locker room tends to be hot and humid from other people taking hot showers while I am trying to cool off. I ordered this fan to blow air on me while I got dressed and it works great. I just clip it on to the locker door and turn it on. My only complaint is that the flow of air is pretty narrow so I end up constantly adjusting the direction to point to me (easy to do) as I move around while getting dressed but it does a great job of controlling my heat and keeping me from re-sweating after a shower. It is small enough to store in my gym bag and fairly quiet. I can also sit it on my desk if I am still hot. The fan charges from USB so I just plug it in by my desk. The charge lasts for several weeks of workouts. There is no way to tell when the charge is getting low, so just charge the fan once a week because it will just stop without warning when it does run out of juice. Overall one of the smartest purchases I have made.
