BD Alcohol Swabs 100 Each (Pack of 6)

BD alcohol swabs have been a mainstay in my household since I was a child. My mom was type 1 diabetic, and she used then for the same reasons I, a type 2 diabetic, do today: theyre absorbent, never come out of the foil dried out, and theyre soft and pliable. 2-ply alcohol swabs dont absorb blood well, and so youre frequently left with a film of dried blood on your finger after testing. Not with BD! We also use them to sterilize thermometers after taking temperature, pulse oximeter surfaces, and other medical equipment that needs a cleaning that can handle the harshness of driving alcohol.

Large and thick with ample amount of alcohol compared to all the others that weve tried. We have found BD products consistently above the other manufacturers.

I always use this brand. Itts very moist some are dry.

It is so hard to find a real alcohol swab anymore. The bi-fold ones are useless, in my opinion. These old-fashioned ones by BD are the very best.

Why are these the most perfect alcohol swabs? They are the perfect size and they are THICKER than other brands, AND they are the most moist. I have a central line and even though my infusion pharmacy provides alcohol swabs, I always have these for my line because they do a better job and make me feel better about it than the other swabs.

Always prefer this brand - they’re the best. Have tried several others.
