I do a lot of beading and I wanted a wire to was tough and durable but still gave the beads a fluid movement. It is important to know the number of strands (49) and measurement (.018) to get the strength and durability necessary to do beading projects. I have purchased this exact product from beading stores at a much higher price. I will be purchasing this again from Amazon.

I have used this, and many other kinds of wire and for the price and quality, this is what I always come back to. Itd durable, does not kink easily and I can use it for all my projects from lightweight to heavy without having to use multiple strands like I have had to in the past with other wire. I find this to be comparable in every way to the more expensive brands and it works just as well or better. As long as they keep making it, I will keep buying it! Works very well for my needs: rigging small sculptural elements; its flexible and easily tied/knotted. The bad: it would be very helpful to have the break weight in the product copy and/or on the packaging.
